Etosha

Despite our efforts, we managed to avoid the dreaded dust bowls 😊. It was simply a beautiful drive through the Kuarip gorge.
We arrived at Etosha and were hit by an awful cold-front which had us all sleeping in multiple layers of clothing!
On the way from Dolomite to Okaukuejo, Paul played the 'Good Samaritan'  and assist a German couple from Munich who managed to completely destroy a tyre. Thankfully none of the Skeleton Coast group were as unlucky 😀
A quick trip to checkout Sprokieswoud, and then we were at Okaukuejo.
The first night was freezing cold and reminded us of our previous trip with Paul and Shelly in 2011.  The temperature was a "balmy" 3 degrees on Wednesday when we got up...
Sleep was also disrupted by the constant roaring of nearby lions, which Laura managed to see from their Villa next to the waterhole!
