I guess sleep was out of the question this morning, as we were up and out of the house by 01:15, leaving behind our 4 furkids in the safe hands of their 'adoptive parents' at the start of our first BIG African adventure.
We were soon out of town where temperatures quickly dropped off to mere 6 degrees. Ventersdorp, Kuruman and Sishen blurred past in quick succession with a stop at Die Pienk Padstal to answer the call of nature in a civilised manner and some retail therapy. According to the sign, nothing really happens here 😀
