After stopping at the Hand of God to deflate our tyres, we made our way to the campsite at De Hoop. It was rather busy with 12 Old Fogies from Nylstroom in caravans and trailers taking up the Riverview frontage. So we setup camp a short distance away from them and had our 1st G&T of the trip.
Our 1st night in the Rooftop tent went amazingly well. Even the midnight bathroom break wasn't too much of a problem once we scared off the 4-legged creature that was roaming around the campsite 😯.
Our 2nd night at Kokerboom Kloof is going to be deathly quiet ... No river and NO neighbours!
